Using only the tools of a frontiersman and techniques that have been passed down through generations, we have created the TRAPPER’S LODGE Hand Crafted Rustic Hewned line of timber siding & trim. We start with mighty White Pine, harvested from the forests from the Lake Superior region. Sourced locally, we then utilize local craftsmen and a variety of draw knives to create a one-of-a kind textured finish. Each board bears the unique scars from the knives that when finished create dark contrasting crevasses.

The TRAPPER’S LODGE siding installs easily over conventional framing and is available in sizes 2x8 - 2x12. Coordinating window & door trim also features the same rustic sculpturing and are available in 2x4 and 2x6. To further enhance and protect the siding and trim, we offer Sikkens Brand of premium finishes and the NORWAY LODGE Factory Prefinishing Service - a full six-sided protection for your natural wood exterior, available in a variety of attractive shades.
