Lake States Lumber will Custom Mill orders to your specifications.  We hand grade our patterns AFTER the milling is complete - providing the highest percentage of usable product and quality and consistency that you can depend on!

 

 

It all starts with a better stick of wood.  To produce quality patterns and sidings we start with sound, quality wood blanks.  After milling, our products are again graded by hand to eliminate the product that doesn't meet our stringent grade allowances, leaving our customers with only the best portion of the grade.  The grade allowances that are approved by the accredited lumber organizations governed by the American Lumber Standards Committee allow for a wider range of defects.  You get what you pay for, minimizing waste provides your customers with savings not only in material costs but labor for installation.  Your customers will take notice and will be back for more!
